Knox United Church hung out it's shingle in 1909. Other churches serving the community are Catholic and Seventh-Day Adventist. Knox United is a special place. We care about each other. We have become rather famous for our bake table at the local annual gun and hobby show. This annual community event draws and supports vast and diverse clubs, musical groups, crafts and artists into the community. There are many fine cooks in Knox's congregation, and those who are not, are fine eaters. We get to know those with whom we sit at a table and those with whom we wash and dry dishes. Therefore, those with whom we sing, pray and worship are not strangers for long. We celebrate communion on a regular basis, at least once a month, and usually by intinction. The hands that serve vary in size, in age and in experience; the table is open to all.
